The graving dock used a floating door. The final joint was made between the last
element and a fixed cut-and-cover section in the space formerly used as a dock.

Tunnel crosses a harbor. Half the tunnel trench was in rock, the other in sand and
gravel.
By means of floating cranes and four vertical cylindrical tanks mounted on tunnel roof.
Gina and Omega rubber seals
On first tunnel element a thin PVC film; on remaining three tunnel elements no
waterproofing.
The elements were enclosed on the sides and tremie concrete was placed for the
permanent foundation.
