Part of a land reclamation contract and was needed early for that reason. Provides
stub-end for remainder of immersed tunnel crossing (see T.97). Ventilation and station
building attached to the landward end as part of a separate contract via a cast-in-place
reinforced concrete connection. Tracks diverge. Temporary access via two snorkels on
roof.
